Go to office.com, open any spreadsheet, then click Insert โ Add-ins โ Upload and Manage My Add-ins.
Click Upload, select the manifest.xml file and confirm. GridManager will appear in the Home tab.

Create a folder on your Desktop called GridManager. Put manifest.xml inside it. Then right-click the folder โ Properties โ Sharing โ Share and share it. Copy the network path shown (e.g. \\YourPC\Users\...\Desktop\GridManager).
Open Excel โ File โ Options โ Trust Center โ Trust Center Settings โ Trusted Add-in Catalogs. Paste the network path in the URL field, click Add Catalog, check Show in Menu, then click OK.
Close and reopen Excel. Go to Insert โ My Add-ins โ Shared Folder โ click GridManager to install it. It will appear in the Home tab.
